My view is the real issue, as highlighted in the posts, are the mixed use issues which can get tricky, both practically on the compliance time required and philosophically when our rental and personal lives mix (I have a rental by a place the kids do sports and I may stop by to inspect or shovel, (and so on...etc..etc..).. so just disentangling the purpose is tricky sometimes.. much less taking off the gloves to record the miles..
