I have to say, regarding the agent I referred to you, I had less than a high opinion of him at first but, after working with him the last year or so, I think you should reconsider unless his actions, or lack thereof, were egregious.

Based on their prices, you could then turn to your original contractor, let him know what the other prices look like and ask him if he would like a chance to reconsider his costs and put in a more competitive bid.
