I recently moved to Massachusetts from Colorado, where I was licensed as an associate broker (essentially the same as a real estate salesperson in MA) and I am in the process of applying for a reciprocal license.

I understand that there is reciprocated value on both ends of a wholesale transaction (helping someone out of a sticky situation in return for the assignment fee), but I am curious to hear what you guys think. 

I am here to learn, network, and hopefully once I am a seasoned enough reciprocate and hopefully help out some people starting out also.

If you have a NY, NC and SC broker license, do you have to do 22.5 hrs for NY, 8 hrs for NC and 8hrs for SC or do they let you reciprocate the CE hours.

But once again, refer to your CPA advice, there may be some sort of reciprocation agreement where if OR collects taxes, you may be exempt from that portion for CA state income purposes.

MN Mls is the same as RE Colorado and you have reciprocity.  

My father was a great tenant and his landlord reciprocated by rarely raising rent and not pushing the issue that I was living there without my name on the lease.

There's different reciprocity rules when potentially transferring a real estate license to another state.There's some good info on this site:https://www.aceableagent.com/c...I saw that North Dakota has license reciprocity in some states including Iowa, Oklahoma, and Tennessee. 

For one, this will allow you to build rapport and develop connections with big-name investors, and two, if the deal were to pencil out and was acquired, you could very well be reciprocated with a finders fee at closing.
