I said listen, here are some options for you to keep your home (loan modification, bankruptcy/debt restructuring, forbearance, state/local programs for distressed homeowners) but if they dont work out here is a plan B in case you need it.

Many loan modification companies marketed to this list to the point where the FTC cracked down on them and in the process, forbid the credit bureaus from selling that list anymore.

Well Don, then I'll whisper this, modifying a NPN is the same as making a new loan, if the note is residential, owner occupied, then someone qualified to make that type of loan needs to do the modification.
