I found this property on the MLS, after falling out of contract last minute due to buyers financials. 

I'm wondering if someone did indeed buy it or if as you mentioned it's vacant and falling apart.

They buy at deep discounts and have economies of Scale to be able to wait out the time when Homes Prices and Rent Prices must rise eventually.It's a lose-lose for Mom and Pop but a Win-Win for Big Money Landlords.It's the complete opposite of what the Liberal's intentions wanted and they will fall into self-delusion that it's a Conspiracy of the Rich.

Falling in love with a property costing you $10K a month is an expensive romance.

If the cracks are big enough to create a tripping hazard or the floor is so uneven it could cause someone to fall, then I would want that fixed.If it's safe, then I want to ensure it is functional.
