Hello – I'm looking for confirmation of understanding/ advice relating to transferring property into LLC and treatment from a tax perspectiveMy parents completed a 1031 exchange over 2 years in their own names – they file a joint tax return.

Not surprisingly, I mostly went to other kid's houses that had some space that was not constantly next to parents.

So my parents are doing a 1031 on their old property to buya new one.

You could however set up the parent holding company in Wyoming.
