@Percy N. the middle sized unit is on a VA (governmet) lease that cannot be broke, and the smaller unit is a studio around 500 feet so it is too small for me, boyfriend, and a dog.So the only real option is to have the renter in the biggest unit, month to month lease, leave so I can move in.

Prashant P.That's why you contact the current landlord and their previous landlord.The current landlord might say anything to get them out of their apartment, but the previous landlord has nothing to gain or lose.Income checks, etc. are important too.But, someone could live somewhere 5 years, lose their job, stop paying, have their deadbeat boyfriend move in, trash the apartment, then move out.
