I own a house just south of Jaco, in a town called Esterillos Oeste.   

I’m out of town this week but happy to give you my insight when I return.  

If you are a control person, this can be a challenge but I have learned to let go over day to day issues that come up that I would do differently.Handypersons are a tough one.

Letting go of control into passive investing and being a money investor makes me nervous.

Rent is "paid" when they initiate transfer not when it hits my account because they have no control over the lag time.

Greater control of the timeline.  

This influx of workers will naturally drive demand for housing, retail, and other services in the surrounding areas, especially in smaller towns and cities that haven't seen major growth in decades.

Plus you have no control when they do an exit, and you’re paying fees all over again to re enter into a new DST.

But the one thing that you can control is your creativity and how far are you willing to go with risk .

This is why the big corp builders or regionals control so much of the larger developmentsthe deals i funded are 34 lots 160 lots and 80 lots respectively and each of them have contracts on them by Toll and Lennar and one regional but they only close when we have permits in hand.
