The super came and said it is because of the wrong paint used not the vent. 

The forums have some information, but the bigger value is in their various member meetups, since it seems the forums are not "super" active with sponsor conversations.  

Also most of my units are super nice so rent is already at a higher premium than some of the competition charges.

On getting kicked out, you won’t know like you said but most of the time those take months and from my experience, wasn’t super frequent for the military to just boot people out.

With a duplex which are super common in Milwaukee you are in that in-between space where most owners try to make the tenants do it, but that can be tricky.

They don’t have to be an investor themselves (although if they are it might help) and really just need to be super attentive to your needs.

Google search gives me these super wide ranges and mostly talking about adding a bedroom in a SFH, which I'm not sure if applicable to this situation of "moving/subtracting a bedroom from one unit and add it to another unit in a duplex".
