I'm getting images of flop houses from the movie Taxi Driver.

I bought an old closed movie theater in the downtown area with lots of free on-street parking.

I just don't see the point in sending them Christmas cards, movie passes, gift cards, etc. for doing what they agreed to do; pay the rent and keep the place in decent shape.

Warning, this movie is not for the landlord who is weak of heart!  

@Ritch Bonisa  nope from what I know I got PM from a property manager in Jacksonville FLA same story buying hood rats for next to nothing and promising the moon.. sad situation. don't know if you have seen the movie  " the informant" with Matt Damon. 

Again, if you watch "The Big Short" or other movies that talk about mortgage backed securities, there were A LOT of problems back then.

Movies a d chocolate both thrived during the Great Depression.

A lot of my "check-ins" can be a result of us parking behind the buildings and short cut walk throughs of the common areas to the main drag for the movies or dinner. 

I would have to hedge my advice and discussion of particular experiences, I would also have to limit what I said because those that know my specific businesses could reverse engineer the type of advice I give.Do you want to know how we bid against the FBI on a home at TTEE sale and about how I walked away when my partner kept the home to film adult movies?

If I get a little discourage or have a bad day I take a couple hours off and go do something relaxing, enjoyable, or just veg out on the sofa and watch a movie.
