That overly polite, side-stepping, avoiding confrontation, mentality is maddening when you are just trying to get to what they're trying so hard not to say.  

I'm sure you guys are going to be shook by this, but it's the truth.

Hey Chris,I know it's been a while so I'm curious how this situation shook out for you.

Nothing is more maddening than working on something for hours, getting filthy, frustrated, etc, thinking you're so smart and gonna save $x thousands of dollars....only to end up still having to call a pro to do the work for you, or worse you screw things up more and make it more expensive.

She told me wood was slippery, shook her head, and left.

I got burned by this and it is very maddening to be told they are in dire straights and have no money for even a partial rent payment yet you see them dragging in lots of take out from a $30/person restaurant (where thye are not working at).

What shook me was how quickly everything can change and how drastic. 

It worked for me once and we even shook hands at the end. 

@Andy Madden from what I have heard from other attorneys, a lease option is the best method.

I shook my head and tossed it, disgusted by the fakery.
