Did you guys have an existing relationship with the HML?

It is always a good idea to shop around and find the firm that you think will foster a great, long-lasting relationship with.

I am going to talk with a loan officer that I have a good relationship with after I do another walk-through of the 4-plex tomorrow.

It's going to take a lot of time and effort in building relationships with the multifamily brokers. 

I'm doing everything I can to learn in the meantime, analyzing deals, going over property financials,  building relationships etc. but I feel like nothing can substitute for really doing it. 

Your time could be much better spent educating yourself and developing relationships with individuals in real estate, VS clipping coupons for three hours on a Sunday to save 40$.

You have to build a good relationship if you want to get special deals.Drive around.
