Hard money lending probably isn't a good option just starting out, it would be very easy to get in over your head.I agree with the other advice that you do not need an LLC, and to maybe concentrate on a flip or buy and hold to start.  

The best thing about this business is that you don't have to worry how you look and you can always concentrate on your job without getting conscious of some unnecessary things.
