@Cameron Porter no you can't wholesale off the MLS.What you can do is research opportunities for your buyers.There are always deals on the MLS if you know what to look for and have the time.

Can anyone share their experiences or advice on how to make this process smoother? 

It can be usable for both if you were vacating the units and there was a 12 month lease agreement.

And how can we use this when underwriting our deals?

HB 2297 in particular can provide a lot of opportunity for multi family real estate investors.
