Hi, I tried searching around bigger pockets but my conern doesn't seem common,I am very close on getting a bid accepted for a duplex in nassau county close to queens (seperate front doors)there are seperate gas / water / electric meter.I am single and don't like noise so I plan to use 2nd floor (house is big and all 3 floors are equally sized),and rent out 1st floor + basement as bundle (with gas, boiler, central air machine, laundry machines etc boarded up for my own access, tenant will have their own locked private access to remain area)my concern is, i can technically wire electric to use 2nd floor meter (not sure about others)in that case I let first floor tenant use basement electric for free?
