I'm using this data to build logic to determine when a buyer is a hot lead based on their behavior.

In Excel, you could for example set up a summary tab with budget numbers per CSI division that displays your original budget for construction.

There is NO justification for what you did, and to continue trying to justify bad behavior just makes you look worse.

I ask because I used to work at The Tile Shop and we had a display set-up exactly like that.
