That's because our educational system sucks (as do most parents in this country) and there is little incentive given to people to innovate.And I'm not being partisan -- the current administration should take a huge part of the blame (more than past administrations as the problem is more clear than ever) -- the idiots in Washington only care about a short-term fix, not a long-term one.
