We even did the special FHA streamline refi while it was a rental and there were no problems, even included an investor clause saying they understood it was now an investment property, although it added that in the case of non-payment, the rents can go to them.

What I learned was that, in PA, if you have no written lease, then you have an "understood" month to month lease as far as the legality of it.

I do try and keep abreast of changes to the Landlord & Tenant act.Huy/Brett I need to reach back out to the realtor to be sure I understood his rationale, but it sounded more like he was concerned about whatever risk he may bring onto himself and not what risks the leaseholder / property owner will have to accept.

Anything above that is just ridiculousI’ve never understood how people are silly enough to hand over the equivalent of at least one year of their hard earned salary to a realtor for posting an ad on the MLS and eventually opening the door a few times.
