If you are thinking it is an issue call around and look for ads on craigslist, home advisor, or just google search now a days it seems as though the cost of granite is like that of flat panel TVs more people/companies are offering it therefore the lower the price is, I shopped around and found a granite guy that will do slab granite with install for about 28 a sq ft. plus he throws in a free double bowl sink.

When I went for the inspection, and was able to walk through the units, I found that only about 1/2 the heat pumps were working, most of the toilets and bathtubs were leaking causing soft spots in the floors, there was fire damage in a couple of units that had been kinda covered up (wood paneling placed over the studs, but could see the charred studs because there were gaps at the edges), and as far as the new roof,When I brought up these items, they reply was, "well it's a C class property, what did you expect?"

The assessor was very helpful, so helpful he called building safety for us on his own.The addition was never permitted, after purchase with the disclosed addition my wife hired a contractor specifically to bring the addition up to code, and also replace all the windows, add a new electrical panel, insulate and update a bathroom.

I know a few guys in that can guide me a bit in this area.I have also been to one REIA club meeting, it was pretty good and I learned a few things from the guest panel that was speaking that night, I plan on going to a few more soon.I have heard the advice about dealing directly with the listing agent before, I really should, because I do a lot of research on my own before I bring a property to my Realtor so she can get me in to take a look around.
