You do need money to begin wholesaling and you really need to have solid marketing machine in place.

Build a machine and then run it.

Two weeks later they called me directly and complained about a mildew smell in the front loader washing machine (we left all of the appliances to rent with the house).  

For example let's say you are in a C-D neighborhood and someone damages your fence or if your washing machine needs repair. 

.), this is a significant expense, especially if a lot of people live in the apartment and/or they have washing machines-- Try to uncover any issues with the city.

I understand and anticipate the need to begin a direct marketing campaign but just curious to others thoughts on the ability to keep the machine fed through MLS and wholesale opportunities while I ramp up my own efforts. 

While you are at it, I would replace the hoses on the old machine and buy new braided steel ones for both to proactively avoid any leaks/ floods.
