I have real estate in several states and the management in Omaha in my experience is nothing short of terrible.

Also, ABB is terrible to deal with but VRBO and Booking are absolutely disgusting to work with.

Terrible strategy and its cruel.

As a strategy, I also like the idea of privity between the empty shell and any third parties, keeping them far away from the entity holding the actual assets without trying to pinpoint particular causes of action that could arise against the RE investor.Overcomplication is indeed an issue, but in this case, I think having, for example, 3 entities instead of two (holdco, investco, and management co) isn't terribly overcomplicated. 

Some of them are under 100% financed terrible deals that they may try to transfer over with the property.

Looking back - terrible investment.

The new owner fixed the sagging porch and it seems some of the interior issues, but the back is still as terrible as it ever was and my plywood boarding up the front windows is still in place.

I'm honestly fed up with these platforms because of limitations of their features and terrible banking practices.
