The home I put an offer on was in Lodi NJ which was a bit of a compromise for me in terms of the town I would like to be in, I would ideally like to stay away from more urban areas such as Paterson, Newark, elizabeth, etc.

To this date, the owner on the property record still shows "SECRETARY OF DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING AND URBAN DEVELOPMENT" as the owner even though the party I'm buying it from is Wells Fargo Bank.

All three are interesting markets with promising growth in the years to come and they're urban metro areas which I tend to like.Each of these cities have sub-clusters in their peripheral that often times make for good low-cost but high-yield investment zones.
