What are the thoughts on how proposed tax reform will impact real estate investors?

_______________________The House Financial Services Committee approved a bill Thursday to repeal and rollback significant pieces of the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act.The panel voted to send Chairman Jeb Hensarling's (R-Texas) Financial CHOICE Act to the House floor, 34-26, along party lines.

I imagine that will continue, especially with ASSK's government struggling to implement solid reforms and the Rohingya issue not going away.

The final rule revises Regulation B to implement an ECOA amendment concerning appraisals and other valuations that was enacted as part of the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act (Dodd-Frank Act).

Going forward that may change with proposed tax reform, and for all I know it may have changed since 2009.  

Also, there are too many variables with immigration reform which is making foreign nationals uneasy. 

An old incident followed by years of reformed behavior may not be just cause to deny someone.As for the background checks themselves, I've yet to find the "one stop shop" where you can get an all inclusive history.
