I know the story sells well..

The sad part of this story is if any other taxpayer failed to update their address and a lien was sold, nobody would pay any attention to reversing that sale.

Moral of the story and my personal take away from doing it, budget well and don't spend your money on liabilities (primary home)  and buy assets (rental property).....

Long story short, if you use an FHA loan to buy a property, you need to actually use it as your primary residence (move into it and live there) shortly after closing and continue living there for a year or so.
