Has anyone here created an S de RL in Mexico for the purpose of buying investment properties?

I currently live in a SFH in New Mexico that I house-hack and after relocating this spring/summer, I would continue to rent it out for 2-3 years then potentially 1031 exchange into another property.I discovered BP after learning about the FI movement which totally changed my life.

I sent a tenant their move out deposit itemization within the legal guidelines in New Mexico (30 days) just got a text from the ex-tenant threatening to sue me for 2 times the deposit as she says she did not get it and I better hurry up and send it to her.   

At that point if you wanted to, while you're co-located, you could manage both units yourself, which would help boost cash flow at least while you're stationed out there.Just my thoughts and some of the stuff I thought about when I bought my house in New Mexico.
