I am always looking to increase my marketing knowledge and wanted to know what seller dialogue may be out there for the responses and objections I am getting in this "up" market.

Stop trying to defeat yourself before you even get started.Change your inner dialogue to one that is supportive "This is a people business and I am excellent with people.  

I've read the beginners guide and I'm on podcast 22, with many more to go, but enjoying all the dialogue so far.

I want business partners and in my experience that requires open and honest dialogue.

The actual dialogue would go something like this: "I saw your name mentioned in a forum post about good contractors in Detroit".

@Jerry Poon - I'd imagine the best way to find that type of an operation on the ground is through referral or meeting the people in person, references, etc.Doing a little research by googling "invest in Detroit" there really is no stand out site, it was interesting quick study as a Detroit/SE Michigan investor myself.Not sure I helped you too much - but an interesting dialogue none the less.

I know it's been a month since the initial dialogue however I thought it would be good to reply for others that come across this post seeking additional feedback/advice.

Would it be possible for BiggerPockets to deliver a podcast that gets into the specific dialogues of how deals are presented?

Im still at the preliminary stages but I'd love to keep this dialogue going.
