You'll likely need a higher down payment if you can find anyone willing to finance something like this as a first time investor; many require some level of rehab experience at the very least.

A renter for a stand alone rowhome is usually a different profile from a large apartment complex renter in my experience.

Also make sure you get reviews that speak to the experience you’re trying to promote.

I would recommend talking to many lenders/brokers to see which one has the most experience funding these loan types.

Our STR/MTR portfolio typically sees around 80% occupancy, and I’ve noticed that the online travel booking sites often push properties with consistently great guest experiences.
