I'm opening up a new STR on a speedboat-friendly lake in Indiana, and I'm thinking about including kayaks, paddle boards, and bikes (there's a great 20 mile paved biking path next to our property).

I feel little to no risk of regulation hitting the STR on the top because "hotel/motel/BnB" are included in the permitted uses.

I think this time is different , investment in CA is almost make no sense even for appreciation…for decade…due to 2-4 cap rate.What makes sense in this market is only flipping after interest rate stabilization.this is why I want to invest STr only or just plain REIT
