Just don't try to think of it as a magic number that once you hit X% of your salary in rentals that it's smarter to do one thing over the other.  

Magically your income within or flowing from an scorp is somehow more usable or legitimate in a lending context.

I'm going to assume it is close to the magic number of $85,000 per year (studies show that's the the point where money and happiness cease to have much correlation).
