I’d open the account that doesn’t charge any fees because some of mine charge $5/month and others don’t (not sure why but should probably ask for a waiver as I give my bank enough money) and it makes me sick to think I’m giving them $60 in fees x 7 accounts per year.

What I want to clear up and am interested in learning more about is buying HOA foreclosures at auctions.For example, I have in front of me a beautiful, newer house where the HOA has a lien on it and it is in foreclosure, with an auction price starting at about $6500.. which is the HOA fees, attorney fees, etc that is owed.

To me, owning rentals directly was more work to manage my manager than it was to manage the rentals (and I was making less money due to management fee and inflated repair costs).Syndications: you need to know how to really read people, read financial statements, and understand many of the risks of real estate.
