If you look up the Putnam Project in Bennington, then you will find that that the hospital, town, two colleges, and other private investors are collaborating to invest over $50 million into the the Putnam block right on the four corners.

This is an attractive strategy for many investors today as the REITs provide for greater diversification, typically more income, and also enhanced liquidity optionality.We have and continue to invest capital in 721-UpREIT structured DST offerings.

It can create more of a collaborative feeling atmosphere client/architect/contractor as long as everyone is on the same page. 

Do it to enhance your business and make things easier...don't do it because you think you have to.
