Great observations about TK and out of state rentals!

I don't go very high end, so just from observation, above the FHA limits things have definitely cooled. 

I agree competion is fierce however I have observed over the last 2 to 3 years the true professionals rose to the occasion to take a value add property and add to it.

I've been on BP for years now, but sort of off and on and mostly an observer for the first few years.

Just observed that my wood supports on the foundation piers were constructed off center on the pier (about 1 1/2” off center).

Some restaurants has a manager for the kitchen, responsible for purchases, because he knows best what to buy and how much, but when you're not watching him, they make deals with suppliers, and pocket payoffs on the side.I confirmed my dad's observations speaking with acquaintances in the restaurant business.

They may not be necessarily an innocent party, but the Investors who did not learn enough to understand what they were getting into needs to know that they were either taught incorrectly or they will never learn the truth.Instead, these Investors will continue to get burnt and cause more blight in the neighborhoods that people like Tiffany lives in.All my opinion of course, but I have been seeing this from my observations and experience of about 20 years in RE Investing.

Hi Engelo,Thanks for the welcome :D Great to see that we share some ties for both Sydney and Hong Kong :DBased on some high-level observations why I think I'm more interested into the UK than US, but no way doubting that there are great opportunities in the US.

Hanging around legit investors and observing will teach you a lot.
