And I can say that the younger recruits including BOQ and BEQ accommodation shortages in some of these towns it seems like a wise investment opportunity with guaranteed returns for the savy investor.

Some articles I've read said Atlanta is a hot place to get into real estate investing, because there is a shortage of homes available, while others have said that Atlanta is a poor place to invest compared to other cities because of increased costs for labor, rehab, etc.

I may be in the minority, but I don't think DFW is all that great of a market to invest.Dallas specifically has a huge shortage of police and there has been a huge spike in crime.

My main question is if we are having a house shortage, rent control limiting rent would only make the problem worse?
