I cringe when I hear about people blindly following Dave Ramsey's advice.

Agencies to speak to are those serving the blind, physical challenges, mental care, domestic violence centers, the clerk of court can point you to half way residences or court appointed agencies.

Lest we forget, it was the 'really smart guys who we should blindly trust because they work for banks' who got the ball rolling down the path to financial destruction, realized in 2007, not Cleetus the Slack-Jawed Wholesaler.Sure, it's honorable to come to the defense of the desperate seller who gets taken for a ride by an ill-prepared 'wholesaler' who, for whatever reason, can't close.  

By identifying these characteristics about my decision making process, I know it will help me in the future to be aware of these biases and blind spots which can allow me to account for it and ultimately lead to better decision making skills.

ONe of my friends in ORegon has a monster PM business but he only takes on larger complex's of B quality and above.. all his complex's the law requires on site manager.. his job is to hire and make sure the on site manager does a great job and does not steal the owner blind.. 

Usually right after closing, we head to the house and install the cheapest mini blinds from home depot or lowes in all the windows. 

The walls were stained yellow along with the blinds.

Another common problem is the FSBO seller usually sells to an unrepresented and inexperienced buyer - so you've got the blind leading the blind. 

But my few interactions with it seems to be the classical case of the blind leading the blind. 

However, you're flying blind if you don't do this exercise regularly.
