I read an article where Chicago actually has a shortage of SRO (Single Room Occupancy) units and are providing grants and programs to help owners bring them back.

I have decided that i wanted to do real estate investing because although i love my current job(house cleaning) it has come to the point where it is physically draining and at my short age i have back problems.which effect me day to day l Need a better lifestyle where am not stressed nor strained.i also wanted to get in to real estate because i wanted to start flipping houses with my boyfriend (he works in construction and in the past has worked in ladscaping)i also only thought that flipping was the only thing to do. 

Well yesterday, I got a letter in the mail from my loan company, that said I had a escrow shortage and my payment was going up $263!!!

I think Jim's pricing thoughts seemed reasonable but in my area there is a shortage of good workers so prices have been coming in high for everything I've been doing lately.  

There is definitely a shortage of housing in the area hence all the new condo/apartment developments.

One good thing about Toronto is there are always people coming for job opportunities and it's a top destination for immigrants, so there is no shortage of renters who are working folks with decent income, as well as students.

Plus, on top of this, you’re competing with the a massive affordable housing shortage on the island where first time homebuyers are willing to spend much more than an investor.  

Unforeseen issues often come up during construction in normal times, but even more so in the last couple years with materials and labor shortages, permitting delays, among other challenges.

Because there is no shortage of buildable land, prices of new homes could stay at this level for a while.

From my research, I've found that there is a big inventory shortage in the KC market, but seems nationwide to an extent.
