Is the economy of that community diverse enough to both grow and manage downturns?

This was my first post with BP and it's great knowing we have a diverse group of solid individuals who are willing to contribute.

But when posting opinions on social media you have to expect diversity of opinion and off topic conversation.

Listen to all 180 or whatever and you will have one heak of a diverse view on REI.  

Just like NJ which is very diverse the areas around the bases are as well.

I'd like to see us develop a list of good questions that we could use to weed out trouble makers, yet still help us maintain a vibrant community of diversity.

It provides some diversity to our portfolio (different area, sizes, and demographic) and it is more of a cash focused investment than an equity play like my bay area and seattle properties (which are cash flow healthy but not overflowing).The area is going through a renaissance right now.

In our small to midsize markets, however, I have seen a trend of inner city neighborhood revitalization driving markets back to downtown areas when the suburban new construction sprawl just gets too boring and expansive despite the price.I would add that you should look for a diversity of industry when considering long-term markets.  

The city's diverse neighborhoods offer various rental rates and property conditions.
