Ned,  You're absolutely right it's a very hard business it takes a lot of work however anything worthwhile takes work 

Nothing in life worthwhile is easy.

It's expensive to set up, but I think worthwhile in the long-run.This may be interesting for everyone; I had a tenant who stopped paying their gas bills.

There are little towns in upstate NY where you can do the same and get $800 a month rents...there are headaches with those as well but the returns make it worthwhile!

The figures in my area are far higher for benefits for families and could eat up so much money that the benefits alone can make it worthwhile for a at least one person in a family unit to keep a day job.

I too have pool tables as @John Underwood mentioned and it is a worthwhile investment, just make sure you have a large enough area for it. 

I think you’ll find it’ll cost around 10 grand to start to get anything worth while.

So instead of diving in, I figured I would ask some of my new friends here on BP if chasing properties in probate is something worth while.

At what point is it worthwhile to consider--50(demand):50(supply), 40:60, 30:70 in a given x number of months (another variable)?

From there you can calculate how many days out of the month you would need to Airbnb to make it worth while.
