They need to be made aware that they can go on strike all they want, but their credit will suffer. 

There is no pain and suffering for this- this is not a "tort", it is a broken water heater;4.

I'm sure some markets will do fine, but I think there will be several that suffer.

My favorite quote is “no heart has ever suffered when it goes in search of its dreams, because every second of the search is a second's encounter with God and with eternity.”

On the flip side, another property owner had gotten his apartment building fully occupied with poorly vetted tenants just for the sake of occupancy, which we had to suffer with through non-paying tenants, evictions, damages, etc.

When we suffered the crash in the 2008 years, 25% of my tenants lost their jobs and they handled everything very responsibly. 

I tried flipping property before but suffered huge lost in 2008.

I'm not suffering but I sit in an office all day long, with only 14 days of annual vacation and I'd be happy to let the new college grads take my place and pursue my dreams as a real estate investor. 

Maybe some folks will relocate to Northern Suburbs (Humble, Tomball, The Woodlands, Conroe, etc - but even many of these locations suffered damage - not to the extent of the areas South & Southwest of Houston.  

One market may prosper while another suffers.
