A little about myself: I am BARELY getting into the world of Real Estate Investing and I am here to learn as much as I can.

I think it is smart to work in a partnership when you are not familiar with a particular area in the RE world but make sure that you are protected.

I don't know why I particularly felt the need to respond to this post because many many people make posts like this....and i never understand them.What is the point of announcing yourself to the world as a complete newbie?

People don’t have time for handouts in this crazy world but if you can bring something to the offering table all sorts of knowledgeable people are willing to give hand ups. 

But if you're comfortable treating it like a mutual fund or a stock, the world is a big place with lots of opportunity.
