They're pretty easy to spot, because they never ask the normal questions like where is the nearest laundromat, parking, how big are the closets, etc.

Our dog had puppies in our last house, and I kept her and the puppies in a large walk-in closet (no carpet).

So today I got a request from one of my tenants asking about putting in a portable washer/dryer for their 1st floor rental.

I know that my rentals CAN accommodate more people if someone sleeps on the sofa(s), the floor, in the basement, and in a large closet someone could use as a bedroom, but I reserve my rights to ask who will be living in the home.

Do they look to see how big the closets are? 

I would also add to the cheap list (for units)- Closet organizer, we put in the Rubbermaid ones- Tenants love them.

The conversation was normal till them mentioned making the third bedroom into a giant closet which I thought was odd but what do I really care.

Where I'd put it: Where that cut out already is in front of the closet under the stairs. 

Cash on cash is good because I only put 1k for down payment, no closing closet since i bought from the owner.
