You could run this from any where, put a lock box or electronic pad lock on the door then get your wife to clean when they leave. 

You need to stock it with appliances, electronics and basic furniture. 

Often thru a phone call rather than electronically.  

My camera (and many others) will take 3 shots - very dark, normal and very bright, then align them, smash them together electronically and throw out the over and under exposed parts. 

Hot water tanks, toilet parts, electronics, air conditioning, heat.

I'm also trying to move everything over to electronic so I don't have to wade through stacks of home depot receipts in April or try to remember which sock drawer has the lease agreement with a signature.  

Getting fancy, they can have electronic devices which can confirm receipt of package, perhaps linked to my phone.At another level, the 200-unit needs some kind of a solution.  

Things that cause more overhead like need for extra bank accounts, extra insurance paperwork or conversations, and time required to spin them up and down in a scenario where you're holding property for shorter periods of time.Basically, everyone talks about the asset protection aspects, but the headaches around handling lots of checking accounts, setting up electronic payment / rent collection, etc is the daily tax on productivity I'm fearful of.
