And I agree with Richard that slumlords definitely give investors a bad name, and that's exactly hat we walked into.

I would love to see Richard Sherman get his mouth shut, but he did play a good game unfortunately and I don't know if he could shut that mouth, win or lose.

@Richard: If you have your properties in individual LLCs then I would make sure - since your goal is liability protection - to use an LLC of the state where the property is located.
