The entire floor needs to be scraped with a razor blade (don't worry, not a little Schick razor, a 3-4" floor razor) if it's on a concrete slab like we see so much in California.

Poke your head in the attic with a flashlight and look for water stains on the underside of the decking.

For 25 bucks I could barely afford gas, blades, and weed eater string.

I am looking to add a teak deck to my single family home in the spring.The surface area is about 1000 sqft.

The cooling fan blades and motor should also be cleaned.

We have completely gutted it and taken down to the studs, rebuilt the trusses as there were some broken from the snow load, we'll reconfigure the kitchen put in drywall, completely redo the bathrooms, decks, etc. 

Look at the top photo then the bottom... now think (Is that worth 587$ plus an afternoon and a rather dull miter saw blade?) 

I see the one of the garages and the deck, but one with the backyard and some of the deck adds to the "lifestyle" of the house.The original backyard photos looked great.

I wouldn't buy anything over 5 years old then plan to 1031 it in 5-8 yrs  before the roof, decks, septic drain field, etc age too much.

It also eats jigsaw blades and most of the cuts I made with the jigsaw were with all teeth gone, the blade was essentially a knife (still worked).
