@Dan Ward I replaced some rotted wood on my bay window with cement board siding, and replaced the trim around the cement board panels with PVC trim.  

Really needs painting outside, trimming shrubs, inside floors and paint.

You can just trim off the seams with a utility knife, then mud over them.

I notice minor things, like the interior trim on the door, more than most people do. 

Sure...we did all the floorings (laminate throughout), painted the entire place inside and exterior, redid the bathroom, new doors and some trims, new appliances and painted cabinets with new hardware.  

Tenant had 2 pets they never told me about that chewed up the window sills, door trim and carpet.

If you bought a house with all the expensive trim and white carpet then rented it out you get what you managed for.

If it's a rental and just want it to look nice, try doing a tub/surround and do a pretty back splash trim above the surround!

I gave everyone a time frame to come by and look since I’ll be painting the trim and finishing up last minute details. 

They said that I had to trim any branches 10 feet or closer to the house.
