Volunteer for Habitat For Humanity.

My realtor did a great job helping the process, she knew the community and she knows construction ( I scoped it out and brought her in).After we were under contract I was trolling for a PM company and my wife volunteered.

So just volunteer, or get paid for work done, or take a small (even tiny) equity stake. 

I started volunteering at a local nonprofit 2 days a week and consulting in my industry on the side.  

This is a volunteer position but speaks to my dedication, commitment to excellence, and leadership abilities.

do I also have to volunteer every year throughout the entire life of the loan?

Find someone you want to emulate and volunteer your time and efforts to them just for the opportunity to learn the trade. this kind of investment pays of in spades! 

Right now I’m in the phase of:-building credit + savings-wanting to develop my knowledge and skills I’m in the Memphis, TN area and would love to volunteer my time and skills with investors or seasoned people in real estate to grow my strengths.

If I'm not working, I'm running calls for Bergheim Volunteer Fire Department.
