However, the corridor between the two cities is growing at an unprecedented rate and I believe as those two MSAs expand San Antonio will see a spill over effect.  

Hard for me to see how we navigate all that unscathed (and there’s more- rampant social media misinformation, bitcoin, US dollar as reserve in question, China autocracy, and of course there’s still the Middle East…and oil.)So if something big happens you have the option to cower and cover your head, knowing you have access to more emergency heloc funds, or go big and bold and make new investments in unprecedented times. 

Has anyone seen similar issues on their syndication deals (from before feds increased rateS) and is this a red flag or a one off scenario given the unprecedented rate hikes.

This is obviously not a problem isolated to CO, but 2020 has been a historically unprecedented season.That being said, people have lots of reasons to move and varying perspectives: Colorado Springs had a really bad fire a few years ago that encroached on the city and look at it's growth now.
