I would not be shocked if they pulled that arrow back out of their quiver to stimulate new business back to the downtown core that is a freaking ghost town now with homeless camping everywhere and Antifa breaking windows and peaceful protesting literally every night since the George Floyd riots started

For taxes, every year you should be getting a mailout of your assessed value for the year with a form that you can fill out to protest that opinion.

It may scare some away but for most people they'll understand it's probably not "normal" and they'll just take extra precautions to protect themselves.Ya just come to downtown Portland and check out the peaceful protests and all those nice peaceful super spreader protesters what a dumpster fire that is/was..

I do know that most TX counties follow a deadline of protest May 15 or 30 days after notice is issued, whichever is later.
