One objection that is common now a days is the first mortgage rate being low and the home owner not wanting to lose that low first mortgage rate.The other objection is they want to use the Heloc like a credit card only making a payment on the portion that they use rather than the full amount.

If you had 50k in credit card debt for business startup costs (not real estate) with a 3-4-year plan to pay it off, high debt utilization in the meantime and a 620 credit score - but wanted to start investing in rental properties - what would you do with 20k that falls into your lap?

@Joe Villeneuve I have a similar situation, I have a 743 fico score, with a credit card that have a remaining 12,000 to pay off a 20,000 card.

I was recently laid off and have accumulated about $20,000 in credit card debt, primarily from paying last year's property taxes and covering a few months of living expenses.

Our bank offers Deposit only cards cards (looks like an ATM card) that we give to each tenant with their name on it.

Outside of real estate, I enjoy spending time with my wife and kids, as well as playing golf, collecting comics and sports cards, and binging the next show on Netflix.I am very excited to meet people with common interests, network, learn, and help where I can.

We personally always stay at a Disney resort due to the simplicity of the Disney transportation system and park hoping.That said there are many people that want to save a buck or stay in a bigger place so that all their family and friends can be with them.

Tricky, to get people to move in, it would need to be accessible to transportation, town...but the city has not accepted them so much legally as a living space.
