That was like pulling teeth, so I called and asked my states insurance commission office if licensed companies had to disclose in an easy to read summary sheet like the new laws make medical insurance policies, answer no, and there is no law to give advanced copies.

Seems to me the law doesn't have teeth, just check the yes box on your return and avoid the penalty, no enforcement that I can tell.

most folks that spend money on this stuff to protect 100 to 200k of equity are never going to need it and never going to lose the money or equity in law suits.But lawsuits happen rare as hen's teeth but they do happen..
