They ask about staying long term, hoping the thought of all that money will entice you to interact with them and leave your defenses down. 

@Kenneth P Ford they are a national franchise with great marketing.They also have some national support for their individual franchises, but it all depends on the local team.Recommend exploring as many sources as possible to get referrals AND cross-reference them to get as much accurate information as possible.Check out NARPM.com, BP’s Property Manager Finder (BiggerPockets: The Real Estate Investing Social Network), etc.Also, encourage you to learn from the mistakes of others - by reading posts here on BiggerPockets about owners not having their expectations met by their current Property Management Company.

Again, the BiggerPockets store has some books on this topic, or you can learn about it by watching podcasts, reading blogs, and interacting on the forum.

I am not sold that it is as easy as claims and just another young social media guru taking advantage and that doing their process will be very time consuming to get a lead that goes through.

You don't need to spend endless money on the national courses which never give you a result and never teach you anything you can actually apply.As a general rule, if you find a class or group promoted in your social feeds, or on TV, etc., you want to stay away from those. 

All of you interactions should be viewed through that lens.

Lots of people lie, I also find with social media some are overly dramatic.

I personally blame the alarmist asset protection firms, some of which are big on ad spending on social media to get in front of new investors who don't know any better (no fault of their own). 

The social engineers (lawmakers and their special interest handlers) stifle and discourage growth, individual liberty, and confiscate property (your hard earned income), they are absolutely crazy.
